Job Description: Unique Personnel Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the financial and commercial aspects of our projects are managed effectively.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Cost Management: Oversee the entire cost management process, from estimating to final accounting, to ensure that projects are delivered within budget.
  • Commercial Duties: Provide expert advice on commercial matters, including contract negotiation, dispute resolution, and risk management.
  • Cost Analysis & Planning: Conduct detailed cost analysis and prepare comprehensive plans to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Tender & Contract Documentation: Prepare tender documents, including bills of quantities, and evaluate tenders from contractors and subcontractors.
  • Budget Control: Monitor project budgets and manage variations to ensure that projects are delivered within predetermined budgets.
  • Valuations & Payments: Conduct monthly valuations of work in progress and certify subcontractor monthly valuations.
  • Contractual Advice: Provide advice on commercial and contractual matters, review contracts, and draft project-related correspondence.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Produce accurate formal reports and maintain detailed records of project progress and financial performance.


Requirements:




  • Bachelor's Degree: A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field is required. A Master's degree is an advantage.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry is required.
  • Skills: Strong commercial acumen, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
