RCL Foods is seeking a highly skilled Senior Lab Analyst to join our Foods Division in Randfontein. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for managing all laboratory resources, ensuring strict adherence to food safety standards, and maintaining the highest level of quality in our products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage laboratory activities, including product sampling, sample collection, and preparation for external testing.
  • Perform analytical tests accurately and efficiently, following established test methods.
  • Record and communicate results to relevant stakeholders, including HODs and Quality and Food Safety Systems manager.
  • Trend and analyze results to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 17025 and other relevant standards.
  • Manage laboratory staff, including training and development, and ensure effective communication with operational teams and external partners.
Requirements:
  • NDip Food Technology or equivalent qualification.
  • Completed training and working experience on ISO 17025.
  • Training on FSMS advantageous.
  • Min 2 years hands-on experience in a supervisory position in a laboratory environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage resources effectively.
