Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and develop moulds and dies using engineering drawings and production specifications.
  2. Plan and source materials for mould and die fabrication, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
  3. Collaborate with production personnel to ensure efficient tool room operations and maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and repair.
  4. Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for production equipment to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
  5. Assist in the management of the mould and die room, including inventory management and asset tracking.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in tool making or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles and production processes.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be able to lift up to 25 pounds and work in a team-oriented setting.
