Demand Planning Analyst Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Demand Planning Analyst to join our team at Colgate-Palmolive. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining accurate demand plans, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build Collaborative Demand Plans: Interact with commercial teams to gather customer plans and other demand inputs, determine deviations, and document key assumptions.
  • Review Demand Plans: Prepare and participate in the Monthly CBP discipline process to develop an aligned demand plan, identify gaps and opportunities, and address them.
  • Synchronize Supply and Demand: Ensure alignment of demand plan to supply plan, identify and communicate supply risks and opportunities, and propose solutions.
  • Support New Product Planning and Life Cycle Planning: Work cross-functionally to finalize pipeline volume and first 6 months of demand for new products, track and measure actual shipments, and collaborate with a cross-functional team to manage and communicate sku performance and life cycle changes.
  • Measure and Track Performance: Measure, report, and drive improvement of demand planning process and results.
  • Communicate and Manage Demand: Monitor orders and shipments on a regular basis, identify and communicate significant changes, and facilitate the Fast Track process.
Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, Logistics, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of Consumer Goods experience in Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Customer Service & Logistics, Finance, and/or Marketing.
  • SAP R/3 and APO-DP systems experience is a plus.
