Kamo Placements is seeking a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team as an Azure DevOps Specialist. This role offers a competitive salary of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to take on a challenging role in cloud infrastructure engineering. As an Azure DevOps Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and secure cloud-based systems using Azure DevOps tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement cloud-based infrastructure using Azure DevOps tools such as Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions, and Azure Storage.
  • Maintain and optimize existing cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability, scalability, and security.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements and develop solutions that meet business needs.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using bash scripting and Ansible to streamline deployment and management processes.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other stakeholders.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • At least 6-8 years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, with a focus on Azure DevOps.
  • Proven expertise in designing and implementing scalable and secure cloud-based systems.
  • Experience with Linux based operating systems, bash scripting, and containerization using Docker.
  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals and experience with network architecture.
Desirable Skills and Experience

The following skills and experience are highly desirable:

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or other orchestrators.
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes, OpenShift, or other container orchestration platforms.
  • Experience with Git and version control best practices.
  • Understanding of cloud security principles and compliance frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and Scrum.
