At MoonPay, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for building and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure.

We estimate the annual salary for this position to be around $120,000 - $180,000, depending on experience.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our cloud infrastructure using industry-standard tools and technologies such as GCP and AWS. You will work closely with our development teams to ensure seamless deployment and integration of applications and services.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Create and manage cloud infrastructure resources, including virtual machines, networks, and storage.
  • Design and implement highly available and scalable architectures.
  • Develop and maintain automated deployment scripts and tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize infrastructure improvements.
  • Maintain high standards of security and compliance in cloud infrastructure.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, with a strong focus on GCP and/or AWS.
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing scalable cloud infrastructure.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Ability to travel occasionally.
