We are seeking a seasoned Senior HVAC Project Director to join our team at Job Masters Pty Ltd. As a key member of our project management department, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution and development of complex HVAC projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, ensuring timely delivery and effective resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with senior management and stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables that align with business objectives.
  • Provide expert guidance on contractual matters, including JBCC, FIDIC, and NEC contracts.
  • Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders, ensuring seamless collaboration and clear progress reporting.
  • Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis, fostering strong relationships and resolving potential issues.
  • Estimate resource requirements and develop budget proposals, recommending adjustments as necessary.
  • Negotiate with other department managers to acquire required personnel and make strategic staffing decisions.
  • Determine the need for additional staff or consultants and facilitate recruitment processes.
  • Set and manage project expectations, delegating tasks and responsibilities to team members.
  • Maintain health and safety compliance, ensuring adherence to ISO processes.
  • Identify and resolve conflicts within the project team, managing dependencies and critical path.
  • Plan and schedule project timelines, track milestones, and develop progress reports.

Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of direct experience in MEP or HVAC project management, with a minimum of R35 million in project value.
  • Technical knowledge of current internet technologies, project scheduling skills, and proficiency in MS Office.
  • Demonstrated experience in personnel management, with the ability to motivate and supervise project team members.
  • Solid written and oral communication skills, with the ability to elicit cooperation from various stakeholders.
  • Adept at conducting research, learning new technologies, and applying them to project-related issues.
