Financial Operations Specialist

Affinity Services is seeking a meticulous Financial Operations Specialist to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, processing, and managing invoices to ensure accurate billing and smooth financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and issue invoices to clients in a timely and accurate manner
  • Verify billing information and resolve any discrepancies with internal departments or clients
  • Maintain accurate records of invoices, payments, and account balances
  • Process payments and follow up on outstanding balances
  • Assist with reconciliation of accounts to ensure consistency between financial records
  • Generate reports related to invoicing, payments, and accounts receivable
  • Respond to client inquiries regarding billing and resolve any issues
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Financial Operations Specialist or in a similar financial role
  • Familiarity with accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, Sage) and MS Office (particularly Excel)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Good communication skills and a customer service-oriented approach
  • A degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is an advantage
