Job Summary:

Isilumko Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Financial Administrator to join our team. As a Financial Administrator, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Transaction Management:
    • Process commercial stop order deductions (TCF) and reconcile receipts.
    • Retrieve deduction request files from Aims and extract different deduction requests.
    • Prepare deduction requests for submission to various institutions via email.
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis:
    • Perform a reconciliation between deduction requests submitted and feedback received from institutions.
    • Update Aims to ensure accurate reflection of receipts (TCF).
    • Conduct monthly reconciliation between bank statements and transactions allocated on Aims.
  • Financial Planning and Budgeting:
    • Calculate amounts to be refunded to policyholders (TCF).
    • Process refund requests and identify Aims transactions related to refunds.
    • Perform calculations based on premiums received and applicable premium increases.
  • Financial Compliance and Risk Management:
    • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and maintain accurate records.
    • Investigate system-generated exception reports concerning deposits that couldn't be allocated in Aims.

Requirements:

  • Education:
    • Matric with mathematics and accounting.
  • Technical/Legal Certification:
    • National diploma (an advantage).
  • Experience:
    • 1 Year of finance experience (an advantage).
    • Exposure to the insurance industry would be beneficial.
    • A working knowledge of Aims is preferred.
