Job Summary:
Isilumko Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Financial Administrator to join our team. As a Financial Administrator, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Transaction Management:
- Process commercial stop order deductions (TCF) and reconcile receipts.
- Retrieve deduction request files from Aims and extract different deduction requests.
- Prepare deduction requests for submission to various institutions via email.
- Financial Reporting and Analysis:
- Perform a reconciliation between deduction requests submitted and feedback received from institutions.
- Update Aims to ensure accurate reflection of receipts (TCF).
- Conduct monthly reconciliation between bank statements and transactions allocated on Aims.
- Financial Planning and Budgeting:
- Calculate amounts to be refunded to policyholders (TCF).
- Process refund requests and identify Aims transactions related to refunds.
- Perform calculations based on premiums received and applicable premium increases.
- Financial Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and maintain accurate records.
- Investigate system-generated exception reports concerning deposits that couldn't be allocated in Aims.
Requirements:
- Education:
- Matric with mathematics and accounting.
- Technical/Legal Certification:
- National diploma (an advantage).
- Experience:
- 1 Year of finance experience (an advantage).
- Exposure to the insurance industry would be beneficial.
- A working knowledge of Aims is preferred.
