- Document Preparation: Prepare various legal documents, including notices of motion, affidavits, set-downs, writs of execution, briefs to counsel, and correspondence.
- Platform Management: Utilize and manage platforms such as Case Lines and Court Online proficiently, ensuring efficient and accurate data entry and management.
- Document Delivery and Processing: Handle the delivery and processing of legal documents, including applications, court orders, and writs of execution, in a timely and efficient manner.
- Court Procedures: Demonstrate knowledge and experience with court procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Team Leadership: Oversee and coordinate tasks among junior secretaries, financial candidates, and other team members, reporting directly to Management. This role requires taking a leading position to ensure that daily operations are carried out timely and to departmental standards, effectively supporting Management.
- Diary Management: Maintain a diary for tracking the issuance and servicing of writs of execution, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
- Financial Management: Direct the financial officer to collect capital and interest from the RAF, handle execution matters, and other related tasks, ensuring accurate and timely financial management.
- Statement Preparation: Instruct the financial officer to prepare and dispatch statements of account, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Payment Management: Guide the financial officer in making necessary payments, ensuring accurate and timely financial management.
- Reconciliation: Direct the financial officer to perform reconciliations on files, ensuring accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Communication: Communicate with cost consultants and keep a diary for following up on bills of cost, ensuring accurate and timely communication.
- Document Upload: Upload all pertinent documents onto the clients system and Ghost Practice (GP), ensuring accurate and timely document management.
- Reporting: Update and maintain departmental reports as required, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Scheduling: Manage the scheduling of appointments, ensuring efficient and effective time management.
- Client Communication: Engage with clients and respondents solely on instructions from Management, ensuring accurate and timely communication.
- Administrative Support: Perform typing and dictation duties as needed, ensuring accurate and timely administrative support.
- File Management: Organise both physical and electronic files efficiently, ensuring accurate and timely file management.
- Ghost Practice Management: Ensure all work is saved on Ghost Practice (GP), supervising the junior secretary's compliance as well, ensuring accurate and timely document management.
- General Support: Provide general support to Management as required, ensuring accurate and timely administrative support.
