We are seeking an exceptional College Operations Director to join our team at Reddford House Northcliff, a premium private school in Randburg. As a senior leader, you will play a crucial role in shaping the academic and extracurricular experiences of our students.

About the Role:

The College Operations Director will assist the Head of College in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the college, including administration, sports, and cultural activities. This is a full-time permanent position, commencing Term 1, 2024.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Head of College in providing leadership and guidance to staff members.
  • Collate important term calendar dates and submit them to the Head of College in advance.
  • Handle the administration behind all school camps and tours, including bookings, budgets, and correspondence with parents, staff, and camp facilitators.
  • Chair the Sports and Cultural Awards committees and organize termly Sports and Cultural Awards assemblies.
  • Evaluate and improve the extramural programme by allocating roles and responsibilities to staff members on a termly basis.
  • Oversee the setup of special functions, including sports festivals and tournaments, cultural events, and festivals organized by the Directors of College Sport and Culture.
  • Represent the College on the Health & Safety Committee and assist the Head of College as needed.
Requirements:
  • A teaching diploma or an undergraduate degree with a postgraduate teaching diploma.
  • SACE registered.
  • Ability to teach English Home Language as a high school subject; IEB experience would be an advantage.
  • At least three years of senior management experience or five years of management experience.
  • An interest and experience in organizing sports-related activities would be an advantage.

Salary and Benefits:

Approximately R750,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience, plus benefits package.
