Group Risk Compliance Specialist

The Group Risk Compliance Officer is responsible for ensuring the Group's compliance with government laws and regulations, as well as assisting with risk management at a Group level. Key duties include:
- Coordinating with Group management to identify potential risks and developing policies and procedures to mitigate and manage business risks.
- Overseeing the Group Risk Framework and register process, and monitoring the Group's adherence to policies and procedures.
- Conducting risk assessments to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities, and developing and implementing compliance policies and procedures.
- Monitoring regulatory developments in each jurisdiction where the Group is based and updating internal policies and procedures accordingly.
- Investigating compliance breaches, including reports submitted to the Group's Fraud and Ethics Hotline, and preparing investigation reports with recommended corrective actions.
- Preparing reports and documentation for internal stakeholders, including the Group's board of directors, the Group's Social Ethics and Transformation Committee, and the Group's Audit and Risk Committee, as well as regulatory authorities when required.
- Facilitating the collection of and conducting the annual review of employee declarations of interest for each of the Group's subsidiaries, and facilitating the collection of and conducting the biannual review of director declarations of interest for each of the Group's subsidiaries.
- Working with Group Legal to conduct the annual Group company secretarial review and ensuring the proper maintenance of Group company secretarial records.
- Participating in audits and reviews to ensure adherence to standards and regulations.
- Organizing the establishment and improvement of the Group's legal compliance system and developing and improving the annual legal compliance risk management plan.
- Reviewing planned legislative changes and recommending required changes within the Group and updating risk control and operational procedures.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory bodies.
- Analyzing and reviewing the Group's risk information, providing risk mitigating opinions, and preparing risk management related reports for review by the Group Chief Financial Officer, Group Chief Operations Officer, and Group Chief Strategy Officer.
- Reviewing the Group's compliance systems, new products, new suppliers, etc., and addressing compliance and legal issues together with the Group Legal Team.
- Advising and assisting with the Group's compliance cases, infringement cases, etc.
- Enhancing and cultivating a compliance culture within the Group by implementing training initiatives, including the implementation of training programs for staff in accordance with relevant regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory frameworks and standards relevant to Corporate legislation.
- Relevant certifications advantageous (e.g., Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Risk Manager, Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional, etc.).
