Job Title: Workshop Supervisor - Water Pumps

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Workshop Supervisor to lead our water pump maintenance team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Fitter & Turner and a minimum of 5 years post-trade experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all water pump assessments, repairs, and machining of parts
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair progress and updates
  • Receive and manage orders from suppliers
  • Test and ensure the quality of pumps
  • Manage job cards and ensure outgoing orders are packed correctly
  • Assist with deliveries and collections of pumps as required
  • Participate in on-site pump installations/maintenance when necessary
  • Work collaboratively with junior staff to achieve team goals
Requirements:
  • Matric certificate
  • Fitter & Turner qualification
  • Minimum 5 years post-trade experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
