Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct site assessments to evaluate soil, rock, and groundwater conditions.
  • Develop stable and safe designs for foundations, retaining walls, and earthworks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide expert guidance on geotechnical principles.
  • Conduct advanced geotechnical analysis using specialized software.
  • Oversee construction to ensure compliance with geotechnical specifications.

Requirements:

  • 5-10 years of geotechnical engineering experience.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and geotechnical software.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and Department of Transport design methodologies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng) registration with ECSA is an advantage.
