This role involves working closely with clients who have submitted income protection and lump sum disability claims. The primary objective is to provide additional support through proactive duration management, intervention strategies, and facilitating early return to work for specified and subjective medical conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and review claims to determine the most effective course of action.
- Develop and execute plans of action to ensure case management interventions are applied.
- Analyse claims information and investigate any discrepancies.
- Initiate telephonic interviews with claimants to gather additional information.
- Monitor rehabilitation processes and liaise with clients, carers, treating doctors, therapists, and reassurers.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a health-related field.
- 2-3 years of clinical experience from a hospital, clinic, or private setting.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
