Job Description

We are seeking an energetic and flexible Corporate Support Officer to assist with the day-to-day management of our luxury boutique guest house.

  • Manage data in spreadsheets and word documents
  • Assist with event planning and coordination
  • Supervise other staff members
  • Carry out clerical duties and communicate professionally with guests, suppliers, and team members
  • Create marketing materials and social media posts
  • Drive the company's media marketing strategy
  • Manage stock and supplies
  • Organise maintenance tasks to keep the guest house clean and safe
  • Work with senior management to improve guest house operations and procedures
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience as an Office Administrator or Events Coordinator
  • A matric certificate and additional relevant tertiary qualification advantageous
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Energetic and self-starting
  • Ability to context switch, prioritise, and self-manage
  • Maintain confidentiality
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented and organised with ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Demonstrate expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud apps for marketing purposes
  • Knowledge of MS Office especially Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
  • Own transport and driver's license required
