Executive: Corporate Services Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Executive to lead our Corporate Services department in East London. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate governance, operational management, and policy development.

Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership: Provide strategic leadership and direction to the Corporate Services team.
- Operational Planning and Management: Develop and implement effective operational plans, ensuring efficient use of resources and optimal outcomes.
- Programme Planning and Management: Design and manage programmes that align with the company's goals and objectives.
- Corporate Support Management Strategy: Develop and execute strategies to support the company's corporate functions, including human resources, finance, and communications.
- Human Resources Management Framework: Establish and maintain effective HR practices, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Information and Communication Technology Framework: Implement and manage ICT systems to support business operations.
- Legal Services Framework: Ensure the company's legal obligations are met, and provide advice on legal matters.
- Communications Management Framework: Develop and implement communication strategies to promote the company's image and reputation.
- Facilities Management: Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of company facilities.
- Records Management Framework: Establish and maintain effective records management practices.
- Financial Planning and Management: Develop and manage financial plans, ensuring the company's financial stability.
- Human Resources Planning and Management: Recruit, develop, and retain top talent to drive business success.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or national diploma in a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in a similar role, with 8 years at general management level.
- Proven track record of successful operational and process management in the public or private sector.
- Advanced knowledge of policy and legislation.
- Understanding of corporate services and delegation of powers.
- Advanced knowledge of institutional governance systems and performance management.
- Good governance principles.
- Audit and risk management establishment and functionality.
