Job Description

The successful candidate will have a passion for travel and tourism, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for offering personalized travel advice, creating customized itineraries, and providing top-notch customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement personalized travel plans tailored to customers' needs and preferences.
  2. Provide expert advice on destinations, accommodations, and activities to ensure seamless travel experiences.
  3. Manage bookings, amendments, and cancellations efficiently, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
  4. Maintain high levels of quality and productivity, meeting sales targets and exceeding customer expectations.
Requirements
  • Travel and Tourism Certificate
  • Proficient on a GDS, Amadeus preferred
  • Excellent numeracy and literacy skills
  • 3-5 years of travel industry experience in a retail or tour operator environment is essential with a proven record of reaching sales targets
  • Practical experience with compiling travel packages and creating costings
  • Able to work flexible hours (shift work)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Good geographical knowledge
  • Thorough working knowledge of reservations process from input to output
  • Experience with reading and interpreting contracts
  • Ability to meet targets and attention to detail critical
  • Effective communication skills
