Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Operations Coordinator to join our team at Time Personnel. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for verifying the accuracy of billings against contracted rates, managing rates and billing queries for allocated customers, and checking loaded rates to contracts.

About the Role

In this role, you will work closely with our operations, sales, and other relevant parties to ensure timely and accurate billing. You will be responsible for performing recalculations and checks on billing, daily/weekly checking of waybills to ensure they are rated, and checking and ensuring completeness of customer billings. Additionally, you will assist in identifying issues relating to billing details and communicate with stakeholders regarding feedback, solutions, or recommendations for billing requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Verify the accuracy of billings against contracted rates
  • Manage rates and billing queries for allocated customers
  • Check loaded rates to contracts
  • Perform recalculations and checks on billing
  • Daily/weekly check waybills to ensure that they are rated
  • Check and ensure completeness of customer billings
  • Assist in identifying issues relating to billing details
  • Communicate with operations, sales, and other relevant parties regarding feedback, solutions or recommendations for billing requirements
  • Prepare and manage data required for customer billing summaries
  • Assist with additional administration requirements for the department


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Grade 12, relevant qualification highly advantageous
  • Computer literate in MS Excel, Word, Outlook Intermediate level
  • An understanding/experience in the Logistics industry is highly advantageous
  • 3-5 years Finance/Admin-related experience
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) & strong attention to detail
  • Methodical work ethic, and understand the follow up and follow-through process
  • Ability to work well under pressure and understands importance of deadlines
