Job Description:

The Commercial Area Leader will be responsible for developing and executing regional sales strategies to drive business growth and achieve revenue targets. This includes identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships with distributors and retailers, and preparing sales forecasts and providing input for corrective actions.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement regional sales strategies to meet or exceed annual sales targets
  • Lead a team of sales professionals to ensure effective execution of sales plans
  • Monitor competitors and market trends to stay ahead of the competition
  • Establish strong relationships with distributors and retailers to drive sales growth
  • Prepare annual and quarterly sales forecasts and provide input for corrective actions
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by providing a consistent and cohesive service

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in economics/marketing (or other discipline, with sales management experience)
  • Approx. 5-7 years' sales and sales management experience within mid-sized companies in business-to-business industries
  • Outstanding commercial skills and ability to connect well with the global marketing team
  • Able to prepare budgets and forecasts at local level, and ensures their timely reporting for business planning purposes
  • Accomplished Excel user (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, database, etc.)
  • Languages: English at a professional level
