About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to join our team at Ad Talent Africa. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading our IT operations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality technical services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Leadership
    • Provide technical guidance and support to our IT team, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional results.
    • Develop and implement technical strategies to improve our IT operations and services.
    • Collaborate with our technical teams to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
  • People Management
    • Lead and manage a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure their success.
    • Develop and implement effective team management strategies to improve productivity, morale, and engagement.
    • Collaborate with our HR team to ensure that our IT team is aligned with our organizational goals and objectives.
  • Operational Management
    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of our IT department, ensuring that all tasks and projects are completed on time and to a high standard.
    • Develop and implement operational strategies to improve our IT services and reduce costs.
    • Collaborate with our finance team to ensure that our IT budget is managed effectively.
Requirements
  • Technical Skills
    • Proven experience in IT management, with a strong background in technical leadership and people management.
    • Excellent technical skills, with expertise in ITIL, networking, and server administration.
    • Experience with cloud-based solutions, including Microsoft Office 365 and Google Suite.
    • Strong knowledge of mobility concepts, mobile device management, and mobile device operating systems.
  • Soft Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of IT professionals.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and service delivery.
  • Education and Certifications
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
    • ITIL certification, with experience in IT service management.
    • VMWare certification, with experience in virtualization and cloud computing.
