The Accounting Specialist will be responsible for managing daily accounting and financial tasks, ensuring accurate and timely completion of these duties.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Achieve timeous PO capturing on Sage for AP to enable accurate cost accruals in the correct month.
  2. Create quotes/proforma invoices and credit notes in Sage as per requirements.
  3. Manage trackers for all monthly invoicing and revenue accruals.
  4. Support the month-end invoicing process.
  5. Submit invoices and statements to clients.
  6. Provide support with posting payments to customer accounts.
  7. Liaise with the Cashbook Accountant on unmatched receipts and misallocated payments.
  8. Follow up on outstanding and overdue invoices.
  9. Provide weekly feedback on outstanding invoices and customer responses.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field (essential).
  2. Prior working experience is advantageous.

The successful candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent organizational abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software packages.
