Dis-Chem Pharmacies is seeking a qualified and experienced Clinical Health Services Manager to join their team in Hermanus. The primary purpose of this role is to oversee the operations of a Primary Health Care Clinic, ensuring it runs efficiently and effectively.

As a Clinical Health Services Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of healthcare professionals, including nurses, pharmacists, and other support staff. Your main objective will be to ensure that the clinic operates within industry regulations and best practices.
Job DescriptionThis is a rewarding opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a Clinical Health Services Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing and operating the Primary Health Care Clinic, ensuring it remains profitable and efficient;
- Overseeing the daily operations of the clinic, including patient care, administrative tasks, and financial management;
- Developing and implementing strategies to improve patient satisfaction and loyalty;
- Maintaining accurate records of patient details and communicating effectively with stakeholders;
- Scheduling appointments, managing wait times, and ensuring seamless service delivery;
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with patients, colleagues, suppliers, and community members;
- Conducting quarterly performance reviews and providing feedback to staff members;
- Identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance the overall clinic experience.
The ideal candidate should possess excellent leadership and communication skills, with a strong background in clinical health services management. A tertiary qualification in General Nursing or a related field is essential, along with registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC).

RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you should have:
- A tertiary qualification in General Nursing or a related field;
- Registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC);
- A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in practicing as a Primary Health Care Clinic Sister;
- Excellent leadership and communication skills;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Able to work independently and as part of a team;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications;
- Valid drivers' license and own reliable transportation.
