Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Geriatric Care Physician to join our team on weekends. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments of patients' medical conditions, developing and implementing treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific needs, and collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of evidence-based practices, excellent critical thinking skills, and the ability to adapt treatment plans as necessary. They will also possess good communication skills, enabling them to effectively communicate with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
Requirements
- Qualifications: Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB)
- Proven post-community service experience
- Experience working within a multidisciplinary and nursing team environment advantageous
Benefits
The successful candidate will receive a competitive hourly rate of R536.00 on weekdays and a daily on-call rate of R1183.00 for Saturday and R1774.00 for Sunday, plus an additional fee of R178.00 per patient.
