We are seeking a skilled Construction Equipment Mechanic to join our team at Professional Sourcing. The ideal candidate will have experience in repairing and maintaining construction plant and mechanical equipment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of our construction equipment, which includes excavators, TLB's, LDV's, crushers, and containers, as well as mechanical equipment such as trucks, trailers, batch plants, bulldozers, engines, motors, pumps, and associated equipment.

Requirements:

  • A completed Grade 12 qualification with Trade Test
  • A minimum of 5 years relevant Construction Artisan experience
  • Must be able to read and interpret documents such as Safety Rules, Operating and Maintenance Instructions, and Procedure Manuals
  • Must be willing to work outside the metro and travel to outlying construction sites
  • Must have a clear criminal record
  • Must have a valid driver's licence and own reliable transport
  • One must be medically fit
  • Currently residing in Western Cape
