Job Title: Financial Operations Director

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Director to join our team at Motus Holdings Limited. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to take on a challenging role and contribute to the growth and success of our organisation.

About the Role:

  • Lead and manage the financial operations function, ensuring alignment with the company's overall strategy and objectives.
  • Develop and implement effective financial processes and procedures to drive efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Prepare and present regular financial reports to senior management, providing insights and recommendations to inform business decisions.
  • Manage and develop a team of financial professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management
  • Oversee the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Manage budgets and forecasts, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
Operational Excellence
  • Develop and implement process improvements, reducing costs and increasing efficiency.
  • Manage relationships with external partners and vendors, ensuring seamless service delivery.
  • Maintain a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years' experience in a similar role, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Relevant accounting or finance qualification (e.g., CA(SA), CIMA).
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
