About the Position
We are seeking a skilled Conveyancing Support Assistant to provide administrative support for property transfers. In this role, you will assist in the preparation of financial statements, including ensuring payment of transfer duties, taxes, and registration fees.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements
- Communicate with attorneys, buyers, sellers, and mortgage lenders to ensure smooth processing
- Maintain accurate records of property transfers and associated documentation
- Prepare regular reports for management, detailing progress, bottlenecks, and upcoming deadlines
Requirements
- Matric or equivalent qualification
- Relevant qualification or courses in property law, real estate, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in property administration, conveyancing, or a related field
