A vacancy exists for an Experienced Dynamic Sales Representative to drive revenue growth and manage existing customer relationships in the Western and Eastern Cape for a renowned manufacturer of abrasive products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of achieving revenue targets, profitability, volume growth, and other key performance indicators for direct accounts in the portfolio.
  • Minimise potential channel conflict and develop processes to measure, track, report, and communicate account performance.
  • Develop reporting and monitoring mechanisms highlighting market trends to Sales and Management.
  • Penetrate competitor markets through strategic sales initiatives.
  • Conduct thorough needs analysis on existing and potential customers as part of the sales process.
  • Analyse market potentials, track sales, and status reports to inform business decisions.
  • Meet and exceed sales budgets (volume & revenue) while ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Establish and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
  • Service and further develop the existing customer base through planned individual account support.
  • Participate in trade shows with the ability to conduct product demonstrations.
  • Comply with the company's planning, reporting, and customer management structures as determined by management.

Requirements:

  • A Technical Qualification and/or 3+ years proven sales experience in a technical field.
  • A valid driver's licence.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Knowledge of the abrasive industry would be an advantage.
