Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Administrative Support Professional to join our team in the Western Cape Government.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a suitably qualified individual to provide administrative support services to the Senior Manager and Component. The successful candidate will be responsible for rendering administrative support services, providing support to the manager regarding meetings, and supporting the manager with the administration of the budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support services to the Senior Manager and Component
  • Support the manager with meeting coordination and budget administration
  • Analyse public service and departmental prescripts/policies and ensure their proper application
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • An appropriate post-matric qualification (equivalent or higher) and a minimum of 3 years relevant experience
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and Adobe PDF
  • Extensive experience in administrative support for large teams and proven ability in data capturing and report compilation
  • Skilled in minute-taking and effective communication with relevant stakeholders
