We are seeking a recent graduate to join our team as a site-based intern at Oxyon Human Capital Solutions. This paid internship is an excellent opportunity for you to gain valuable experience and skills while working on a real-world project.

As a site-based intern, you will have the chance to work closely with a supportive team and contribute to the success of our projects. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Complying with our workplace policies and procedures;
  • Applying training and mentorship received on the project site on various Mechanical, electrical and Civil activities;
  • Daily reporting on site activities;
  • SITE Quality inspections;
  • Report writing;
  • General Administration;
  • Assisting in enforcing HSE compliance related to Construction regulations;
  • Assisting and managing project data management to share with Owners Engineers;
  • Assisting with project reporting and drafting project presentations and reports;
  • Assisting in Document management and updating trackers;
  • Compiling Minutes of meetings;
  • Assisting in review and confirmation of as-build information;
  • Assisting the Project manager in updating project control information;
  • Assisting the Construction Manager with quality control;
  • Perform general duties / ad-hoc work or provide support as required by Manager(s) and colleagues in the Project team.

To be eligible for this role, you must have:

  • Completed minimum NQF 6: National Diploma or Advanced Certificate in Electrical/ Mechanical / Civil / Boiler Making Engineering or a related field;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
  • Ability to work flexible hours;
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills;
  • South African Citizen with valid SA ID;
  • Priority will be given to applicants from neighboring villages to the Site namely Shawela, Mohlabaneng and Ramaroka.

The estimated salary for this role is R45,000 - R55,000 per annum, depending on your qualifications and experience. We offer a competitive benefits package, including medical aid and retirement fund contributions.
