Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team in the KZN region. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for achieving sales targets, building strong relationships with orthopedic surgeons and allied personnel, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve territory sales targets and exceed present company turnover.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with orthopedic surgeons and allied personnel to increase product sales and market share.
- Provide training and support to customers on the use of Zimmer Biomet products.
- Follow up on leads and visits in a timely manner to ensure customer satisfaction and sales growth.
- Adhere to divisional sales strategies and pricing policies under the guidance of the Regional Sales Manager.
- Devote adequate time to acquiring knowledge of Zimmer Biomet and competitive products required for effectiveness.
- Undertake other duties as required by the Regional Sales Manager, such as attendance at sales meetings, exhibitions, and staff training.
Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload efficiently.
- High degree of discretion dealing with confidential information.
- Ability to work well under pressure, independently, and with a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and related software.
- Analytical/statistical skills.
- Matric (Grade 12) and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years' proven experience in orthopedic sales or a minimum of 6 years' proven sales experience in the medical device industry.
