Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and processing of credit requests as needed.
  • Complete supplier credit applications.
  • Follow up on customer outstanding balances.
  • Record and maintain courier claims.
  • Source and verify supplier invoices related to courier claims.
  • Prepare and organize necessary documentation for customs VAT purposes.
  • Gather and organize documents related to foreign exchange payments.
  • Assist with the administration and processing of FX payments.
  • Support the Senior Accountant and Financial Manager in compiling month-end financial reports.
Experience and Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years practical experience in accounting or administrative roles.
  • A BCom or similar qualification, or actively studying towards one.
  • Good administrative and organizational skills.
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar spreadsheet software.
  • Familiarity with Quickbooks is an advantage.
  • Must be a collaborative team player, willing to assist others and work towards common goals.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, with a proactive and adaptable attitude.
