JOB DESCRIPTION

The Finance department currently has a vacancy for a motivated, professional and attentive to detail Finance Administrator to join their team. The primary purpose of this role is to ensure the accurate invoicing and payment allocation through to the reconciliation of the company Debtors. This person will be expected to manager a large workload.

HE/SHE WILL ALSO BE REQUIRED TO:

  • Generate and issue accurate invoices to customers, ensuring all information is correct
  • Handle invoicing for a large debtors group, ensuring that all payments are tracked and followed up accordingly
  • Assist with data capturing and ensure accurate entry of financial information as needed
  • Liaise with customers regarding outstanding invoices, payment reminders, and clarifications
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers and provide excellent customer service.
  • Assist in preparing and maintaining financial reports and records as required by the finance department
  • Liaise with various departments to resolve any client queries
  • Provide general administrative support to the finance team, assisting with various finance-related tasks as they arise

  • Perform other ad-hoc tasks and projects as assigned by the Finance Manager

QUALIFYING EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Finance Administrator
  • Post matric accounting qualification will be an added advantage
  • Computer proficiency: packages required: MS Word, Excel (Advanced), Outlook
  • Knowledge and/or experience working on Accpac will be an added advantage
  • Knowledge of the recycling industry will be an added advantage
  • Strong understanding of financial procedures and accounting principles
