Job Title: Senior Project Scheduling Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Scheduling Specialist to join our team at Apache Industrial Services. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to leverage their expertise in project controls and contribute to the success of our projects.

About You:

  • You have 2-5+ years of experience in project scheduling, preferably in the construction or engineering industry.
  • You possess a strong understanding of earned value principles, techniques, and technical knowledge of industrial construction and maintenance operations.
  • You are proficient in using software applications like Procore, Primavera (P3, P5, or P6) Project Planner, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other database applications.
  • You have excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist project managers in developing project schedules, resource curve analysis, and presentation information.
  2. Track and maintain detailed budgets with earned value systems.
  3. Utilize analytical systems, methods, and tools to monitor project progress and complete weekly and monthly reports to management and/or customers as needed.
  4. Work with project managers on change orders based on analysis of reports and identification of potential problem areas.
  5. Answer questions from project managers and senior management as a result of project analysis and status reporting.
  6. Support supervision through preparation, updating, and maintenance of forecasts and schedules.
  7. Develop and track detailed engineering, procurement, and construction schedules with construction management.
  8. Interface with other departments to provide cost/scheduling data for items such as subcontract change requests, new work item estimates, and resolution of potential work schedule problems.
  9. Develop and execute project controls execution and reporting plans for projects working with project managers and project engineers.
  10. Oversee and report project schedules and milestones for deliverables.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
  • Experience: 2-5+ years of related project controls experience within the construction/engineering industry.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Proficient with Procore or Primavera (P3, P5, or P6) Project Planner, ability to work on multiple projects at one time, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, and working knowledge of resource monitoring and control techniques.

What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for growth and development.
