Financial Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Administrator to manage our financial operations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Recordkeeping:

  • Maintain accurate financial records, including invoices, receipts, payments, and general ledger entries.
  • Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.

Budget Management:

  • Assist in the development of the annual budget and monitor actual performance against budgeted targets.
  • Track and analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare regular financial reports for management, highlighting key findings and recommendations.

Financial Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal policies.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure financial accuracy.

Financial Analysis:

  • Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial models, forecasts, and projections.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis to drive efficiency and profitability.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Collaborate with internal teams, including finance, operations, and procurement, to ensure accurate financial data and effective communication.
  • Liaise with external stakeholders, such as vendors, clients, and auditors, to address financial inquiries and resolve issues.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Financial Administrator, Financial Assistant, or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in financial software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
