Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Test Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team at HR Genie. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and integration of dynamic forms generated through GhostDraft within a .NET-based backend and React front-end system.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned test engineer to take on a challenging role in testing complex forms and integrations. You will work closely with our development team to create detailed test plans and execute manual testing to ensure seamless functionality across the system.

You will also be responsible for conducting integration testing to ensure proper interaction between the GhostDraft forms and the .NET backend, as well as validating form submission processes and data handling.

Apart from this, you will collaborate with the QA and development teams to build automated test scripts using tools like Selenium or similar. Additionally, you will perform cross-browser testing to ensure consistency across major browsers and ensure that the forms are responsive and work smoothly on different devices.

As a Senior Test Engineer, you will identify, log, and track defects found during testing using a bug-tracking system, collaborate with developers to reproduce issues and verify fixes, and generate clear, concise reports on test outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create detailed test plans and test cases for dynamic GhostDraft forms based on functional and technical requirements.
  • Execute manual testing of GhostDraft-generated forms across various scenarios, ensuring accurate data flow between the forms, backend, and front-end.
  • Verify compliance with industry regulations and business requirements for form content and structure.
  • Conduct integration testing to ensure that GhostDraft forms are properly integrated with the .NET backend and interact correctly with the React front-end.
  • Validate form submission processes, data handling, and interaction between the system components (front-end, backend, and GhostDraft).
  • Collaborate with the QA and development teams to build automated test scripts for dynamic forms, using tools such as Selenium or similar.
  • Perform cross-browser testing to ensure the forms function consistently across major browsers (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari).
  • Ensure the forms are responsive and work smoothly on different devices (desktop, mobile, tablet).
Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

Experience in software testing, specifically in web application testing.

Familiarity with GhostDraft and .NET technologies.

Strong understanding of automated testing tools such as Selenium.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is $90,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
