About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Operations Manager to join our team at Gk Recruitment. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our business.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in share administration and a strong understanding of company legislation. They will also possess excellent communication skills and be able to build strong relationships with colleagues and clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation of Beneficial Ownership Registers and supporting documents
  • Sending of letters and reminders for Beneficial Ownership Reporting
  • Submission of Beneficial Ownership Registers to CIPC
  • Communicating with clients and sending confirmation certificates
  • Filing of all Beneficial Ownership records
  • Maintenance, updating and upkeep of Beneficial Ownership Lists and Reports
  • Verification of Share Registers
  • Updating and capturing of Share Registers
  • Updating of GreatSoft
  • Assist with Annual Returns as required
Requirements
  • Matric qualification
  • 3-4 years' experience within a processing environment
  • Experience within an Audit and Accounting firm (preferred)
  • Comprehensive knowledge of shareholding, particularly:
    • Interpreting and understanding Share Registers
    • Accurate capturing of historic shareholding
    • Share allotments / transfers / buybacks
    • Authorised share capital changes
  • Experience with Beneficial Ownership Reporting to CIPC (advantageous)
  • Experience with Annual Returns and supporting documents (preparation and submission)
  • Working knowledge of GreatSoft, Excel, Adobe, Word
  • Knowledge of company legislation
  • Knowledge of a business environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
