About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our team, including managing incoming calls, maintaining a presentable reception area, and performing various administrative tasks.

Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Telephone Management: Efficiently manage all incoming calls, ensuring prompt and professional responses, and directing calls to the appropriate departments.
  2. Reception Duties: Ensure the reception area is always presentable, welcoming, and tidy, reflecting the company's brand values.
  3. Brand Marketing: Regularly update and play brand-marketing videos and ensure all business areas are presented, ensuring all content is current and relevant.
  4. Contact List Management: Update and distribute the company's comprehensive telephone list on a monthly basis.
  5. Package Coordination: Coordinate deliveries and collections of small packages and documentation, maintaining accurate records and timely distribution.
  6. General Administration: Support the team with general office administration tasks as needed.
  7. Database Application: Apply relevant sections of our client's; "the way we do things" database to your daily reception duties, aligning with company standards and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: Matric certificate with a relevant tertiary qualification in Business Management, Communications, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and a quick learner with databases.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to engage confidently and professionally with a variety of people.
  • Personal Attributes: Outgoing, confident, and friendly demeanour. Ability to work efficiently under pressure. Professional, polished, and positive attitude at all times.
