Commercial and Reporting Finance Manager

Network Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Commercial and Reporting Finance Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with deep experience in the tourism or hospitality sectors to lead our financial planning, analysis, and reporting efforts.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving profitability and ensuring financial transparency. They will be responsible for overseeing budgeting and forecasting processes, collaborating with operational teams to provide financial insights, and managing cash flow forecasting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting: Lead the preparation and presentation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior management.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes, including variance analysis to support strategic planning.
  • Financial Insights: Collaborate with operational teams to provide financial insights and drive cost efficiencies across departments.
  • Cash Flow Forecasting: Manage cash flow forecasting and support working capital optimization efforts.
  • Financial Controls: Ensure compliance with accounting standards (e.g., IFRS) and maintain high-quality financial controls.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and develop a team of finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification required, with a preference for candidates with experience in tourism or hospitality.
  • Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting within the tourism or hospitality sectors.
  • Strong understanding of financial metrics and profitability drivers relevant to the tourism/hospitality industry.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis tools and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across departments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
