About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Branch Consultant/ Financial Advisor to join our team at Sanlam Developing Markets. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for promoting our financial services products and increasing market share through effective sales and client relationship management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide sound financial advice and exceptional client service in a branch context.
  • Create opportunities for client optimization and cross-selling of value-added products.
  • Gain and maintain an in-depth understanding of our product ranges.
  • Identify and flag potential risks and fraudulent activities.
  • Manage and report on NTUs (clients Not Taken Up) and persistency of client payments.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales targets and improve client satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • 1-year experience in a sales or marketing capacity.
  • Experience within insurance branches an advantage.
  • Matric (Grade 12) and FAIS Compliant (Wealth Management) as per DOFA requirements.
  • Class of Business training (to be completed within 12-months of employment).
