About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Building Information Modelling Specialist to join our team at Sydsen Uthintane (Pty) Ltd. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to work on challenging projects and contribute to the growth of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- BIM Modelling and Coordination: Develop detailed 3D models using software such as Revit and Navisworks, ensuring accuracy and precision in line with industry standards.
- Design Development: Translate project requirements into precise design models, collaborating closely with architects, engineers, and contractors to integrate design solutions.
- Project Documentation: Generate detailed drawings, schedules, and material take-offs, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.
- Technical Expertise: Oversee clash detection processes, coordinating with stakeholders to resolve conflicts and ensure seamless project delivery.
- Team Leadership: Mentor junior modellers, providing guidance and support to enhance their technical skills and contribute to the growth of the team.
- Innovation: Proactively suggest improvements in BIM workflows and explore emerging technologies to optimize project outcomes and stay ahead of industry trends.
Requirements:
- National Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Architectural technology, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in BIM modelling and design, with a strong understanding of architectural and structural modelling.
- Proficiency in software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to manage and prioritize tasks within tight deadlines.
- Effective communication skills and experience in stakeholder engagement.
Compensation: The salary range for this position is R450,000 - R550,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
