Company Overview: SKG Properties is a leading developer, lessor, and manager of commercial and industrial real estate.

We are seeking a skilled Property Valuation Professional to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed property valuations using various methods, including investment, comparative, cost-based, and residual approaches.
  1. Analyse market data and trends to determine accurate property values.
  2. Prepare comprehensive valuation reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  3. Review and analyse property tax assessments to identify opportunities for reduction.
  4. Research and stay up-to-date on local, state, and federal tax laws and regulations.
  5. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely and accurate property valuations.
  6. Participate in property inspections and provide feedback on condition and potential value.
  7. Communicate with local government agencies to resolve valuation or tax assessment issues.
  8. Support property acquisitions and dispositions, including due diligence and valuation analysis.
  9. Maintain accurate and organized records of valuation and tax assessment data.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in real estate, finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in property valuation and rates assessment.
  • Strong knowledge of property valuation methods and techniques.
  • Familiarity with local, state, and federal tax laws and regulations.
  • Current real estate license preferred.

Skills:

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate reports.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and valuation software.
