We are seeking a Credit Control Officer to join our finance team at Elmecair (Pty) Ltd. As a Credit Control Officer, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of credit control, including debt collection, account management, and reporting.

This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven individual who has experience in credit control and is familiar with Pastel accounting software.

Key Accountabilities
  1. DEBT COLLECTION: Collect outstanding debts from clients through effective communication and follow-up actions.
  2. AACCOUNT MANAGEMENT: Manage client relationships to ensure timely payment of invoices.
  3. REPORTING: Prepare and provide regular credit control reports to management.
  4. CASH FLOW MANAGEMENT: Collaborate with the Accounting Clerk to prepare cash flow reports for management.
  5. AD-HOC SUPPORT: Assist in resolving queries and addressing any ad-hoc requirements.
Requirements
  • Hands-on knowledge of Pastel accounting software.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in credit control or a related field.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Matric).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
