About the Role

Kaelo is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Billing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our financial operations department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our billing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bill Clients: Invoicing corporate clients for services offered, ensuring accurate billing and adherence to quality assurance processes and standards.
  • Assist with Commission Statements: Preparing and distributing broker commission statements.
  • Follow-up on Outstanding Payments: Following up on outstanding payments in a professional manner.
  • Manage Payments Received: Allocating payments received on the bank statement to the correct client accounts.
  • Reconcile Membership: Reconciling billing invoices and client payment schedules.
  • Reconcile Staff Lists: Reconciling monthly staff lists from corporate clients.
  • Control Staff Billing: Managing the staff billing function, including activations, deactivations, billing, collections, queries, and services.
  • Manage Queries: Ensuring timely and accurate resolution of billing queries.
  • Generate Reports: Preparing and generating monthly reports, including corporate and broker reports.
Requirements
  • Credit Control and Billing Experience: Proven experience in credit control and billing.
  • Reconciliation Experience: Experience in reconciliation.
  • Computer Literacy: Proficiency in Microsoft Access and mathematical competence.

  • Health Insurance Industry Experience: Experience in the health insurance industry.
