We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced sales professional to join our team as a Sales Team Lead. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving student enrollments by managing and supporting a team of sales consultants. This role requires a proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, leads by example, and is willing to be actively involved in fieldwork, visiting schools alongside the team.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading a successful sales team, driving student enrollments, and developing effective sales strategies. They will possess excellent leadership and team management skills, as well as strong interpersonal and communication skills. The candidate should also be results-driven, able to work under pressure, and adapt to changing circumstances.

Responsibilities include:

Leading a Sales Team

  • Recruit, train, and manage a team of sales consultants to achieve sales targets.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and mentoring to enhance team performance.
  • Lead by example by actively participating in sales activities.
  • Monitor team performance, provide constructive feedback, and implement corrective actions where necessary.

Sales Strategy Execution

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to increase student enrollments.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with high schools, career guidance counselors, and prospective students.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitor activities.
  • Represent the institution at school career expos, open days, and marketing events.
  • Ensure effective pipeline management from lead generation to conversion.

School Engagement and Fieldwork

  • Visit schools regularly with the sales consultants to promote the institution.
  • Deliver engaging presentations to students, parents, and educators about the programs offered.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers in high schools.

Reporting and Performance Tracking

  • Track and report on sales performance, ensuring targets are met or exceeded.
  • Analyze enrollment trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports for senior management.

Key Requirements :

Education and Experience

  • Minimum : Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Management, or a related field.
  • Experience : At least 3-5 years in a sales management role, preferably in education or a related industry.
  • Track Record : Proven experience leading a successful sales team with a history of exceeding targets.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with students, parents, and educators.
  • Results-driven with a strategic mindset.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Strong presentation and public speaking skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid drivers license and own reliable transport.
