The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our African destination operations, providing exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth in this niche market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and revenue in the African safari segment
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of various software systems, including Travelyst, WETU, and Google Workspace
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and industry partners
  • Provide expert advice on African destinations, logistics, and properties to clients
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in the tourism industry, specifically selling African safaris
  • B2C FIT experience is essential
  • Tertiary qualification in Travel and Tourism
  • Strong knowledge of African destinations, logistics, and properties
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Superior interpersonal and organizational skills

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience
  • A hybrid work arrangement, with 2 days working from home and 3 days in the office
