Key Responsibilities:

  • Tax Governance & Compliance: Ensure compliance with all tax laws and regulations, and maintain accurate records of all tax-related transactions.
  • Tax Planning & Strategy: Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize clients' tax liabilities.
  • Tax Return Preparation: Prepare and submit tax returns for ~400 clients, including corporate and individual tax returns.
  • Reporting & Internal Coordination: Track compliance, report on tax submissions, communicate deadlines, and escalate potential risks when necessary.
  • Stakeholder Management: Communicate with clients and stakeholders on tax-related matters, and resolve any queries or disputes that may arise.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Taxation or Accounting
  • 3-5 years of total experience
  • SARS e-filing experience is a requirement
  • Experience in tax compliance and tax submissions
  • Ability to manage tax compliance for a high volume of clients
