Maintenance Administrator

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Administrator to join our dynamic team at Orion Group. The ideal candidate will have experience in maintenance administration and a strong understanding of facilities management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and schedule all maintenance activities at our buildings, sites, and facilities.
  • Track maintenance requests and ensure they are completed in a timely fashion.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and keep detailed logs of maintenance activities.
  • Order and maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
  • Communicate with maintenance staff and external contractors to ensure work is completed according to schedule and budget.
  • Provide support to the facilities management team as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
  • A relevant tertiary qualification will be an added advantage.
  • At least 2 to 3 years of relevant administration experience.
  • Proven experience in maintenance administration or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software programs.
  • Knowledge of facilities management practices and procedures.
