Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement commercial integration strategies tailored to the software engineering domain, ensuring alignment with MTN's overall business objectives.
  • Identify and execute integration opportunities across business units, fostering seamless collaboration and standardized business practices.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product management, and development teams to align commercial and technical goals.
  • Lead the unification of commercial operations, eliminating silos and driving synergies across the organization.
  • Optimize business processes within MTN Software Solutions, leveraging data-driven insights for continuous improvement.
  • Champion best practices in project management and integration, ensuring on-time, within-budget project delivery.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams, driving technical excellence and professional growth.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum post graduate qualification (Masters/CA/MBA) with a focus on technology management is preferred
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification is highly desirable
  • Relevant industry certifications e.g. Certified Software Development Professional (CSDP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) are advantageous
Experience:
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in commercial strategy, business integration, or related fields within the software engineering industry
  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams & managing complex integration projects for S/w CoEs
  • Experience in a leadership role within a software engineering CoE or similar organization is preferred
  • Proven track record of business and process improvement
Skills:
  • Strong interpersonal and business liaison skills
  • Proficiency in PM tools and methodologies, particularly those used in software development
  • Experience with business process optimization and integration within a software engineering context
  • Ability to analyse and interpret technical and financial data
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations relevant to software engineering
