Healthcare Liaison Officer

A Healthcare Liaison Officer is required to facilitate seamless communication between members, healthcare providers, and internal teams.
Job Summary
This role involves providing top-notch customer service, addressing member queries, and working closely with healthcare partners to ensure effective delivery of services.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare providers and internal stakeholders.
- Analyze member data to identify solutions to complex issues.
- Collaborate with team members to resolve queries and provide timely responses.
- Process administrative tasks and maintain accurate records using relevant systems.
- Communicate effectively with members and healthcare suppliers regarding query resolutions.
- Review and quote for services like dental and optometry.
- Verify and confirm member benefits and medical scheme membership.
- Escalate complex cases to Team Leaders for further action.
- Maintain and update interdepartmental processes and protocols.
Essential Requirements
- NQF Level 5 diploma or equivalent.
- Matric certificate.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in customer care within the medical aid sector.
Preferred Skills
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, strong analytical abilities, and a solid understanding of the medical aid industry.
